Kickplates
Kickplates are recommended for high traffic areas or where small carts are used. Kickplates are riveted to the door skin and may be used on one or both sides of the door. Available kickplate materials are listed below.

Type 3 Door Specification
Double acting aluminum traffic doors to be Carlson Products Type 3 manufactured by Carlson Products in Maize, Kansas to fit finished opening size designated by customer. Doors to have satin anodized aluminum skin on both sides riveted to an extruded aluminum frame with an overall door thickness of 1-1 / 4". Core to be expanded polystryrene or high-density urethane. Doors to also have full perimeter, replaceable, neoprene double-wiper gasket with the bottom gasket being adjustable for floor clearance. Hinges to be gravity-activated offset pivot hinges for gentle closing. Special options will be listed separately.
Type 3A Door Specification
Double-acting insulated cooler doors to be Carlson Products Type 3A manufactured by Carlson Products in Maize, Kansas to fit finished opening size designated by customer. Doors to have satin anodized aluminum skin on both sides riveted to an extruded aluminum frame with an overall door thickness of 1-1 / 4". Core to be expanded polystryrene or high density urethane. Doors to also have full perimeter, replaceable, neoprene double-wiper gasket with the bottom gasket being adjustable for floor clearance. Hinges to be self-closing spring butt hinges attached directly to the extruded aluminum frame. Special options will be listed separately.
Warranty
Carlson doors installed in accordance with manufacturer's printed instructions or shop drawings are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of installation. Defective parts may be returned to Carlson Products, freight pre-paid, for repair or replacement. The decision of repair versus replace is up to the discretion of Carlson Products. This guarantee does not cover damage done by others. This guarantee does not cover labor or material costs incurred by reinstallation of repaired or replaced parts.
