Tough ABS plastic clad, double-acting, insulated or solid-core door ideal for medium-duty applications. A wide variety of colors, hinges, and protective options make this a very versatile door for the cost-conscious buyer.

Construction: Rugged .100" ABS plastic outer skin used in construction of Type 7 doors offers a wide choice of colors to complement your interior. The durable exterior panels encase standard polystyrene insulation or optional solid core producing a quiet operating, lightweight, durable door. The door body is 1" thick with the ABS skin permanently bonded to a heavy duty extruded frame and a solid interior reinforcement. Type 7 doors are available with or without full perimeter gasketing. The standard 12" x 20" double pane window is framed by a single piece .125" ABS frame which provides easy maintenance and a tight seal around the window. Standard low profile gravity hinge may be replaced with optional clamp flange spring hinge, or full-length extruded hinge mount and fully adjustable cast iron V-cam hinge assembly. A wide variety of assorted kickplates, and steel jambguards are available. Doors can be mounted in wood or metal jambs (1 / 4" steel reinforcement is recommended in hollow metal frames).
