Type 2 Door Installation

Mount the bottom bracket as shown below. (The jamb guard is not
designed to enclose any part of the hinge, but rather to protect the hinge from damage by
forklifts or carts.) *Measure from the top of the jamb guard or from the floor if no
jamb guard is used.

Install the top bracket onto the top shaft pin on the door and set the
door onto the bottom bracket by sliding the bottom shaft pin completely into the bottom
bracket.

With the door in the closed position, slide the top bracket all the way
down on the top shaft pin. From that point, raise the top bracket up 5/16" and
mount it at that location.

If the doors are not lined up with each other in the closed position,
loosen the nuts on the adjusting plate on the bottom bracket and rotate the adjusting
plate until the doors line up.

The door will have some play in it to allow for an axial tilt of
approximately 4 degrees.
