This tough ABS plastic clad, double-acting, insulated door is ideal for high-traffic, heavy-duty applications. The cast iron V-Cam hinge assembly and full-length extruded hinge combine to create the most durable door on the market. The low price and excellent standard options package also make the Type 6 door the most economical door on the market.

Construction: The rugged .100″ ABS plastic outer skin used in construction of Type 6 doors offers a wide choice of colors to compliment your interior.

The exterior panels encase standard polystyrene insulation and produces a quiet operating, lightweight, durable door. The door body is 1 3/4″ thick with the ABS skin permanently bonded to a heavy duty extruded frame.

Type 6 doors are available with or without a full perimeter gasket. The standard 12″ x 20″ window is framed by a single piece .125″ ABS frame which provides easy maintenance and a tight seal around the windows. The full length extruded hinge mount and fully adjustable cast iron V-cam assembly, and hinge covers are standard features.

Heavy duty steel jamb guards are available and the doors can be mounted in wood or metal jambs (1/4″ steel reinforcement is recommended on hollow metal frames).
